How the ENVIRO-TOX Flow-Thru Dilutor System Operates.
|
The ENVIRO-TOX system mixes the test solution and a dilution water together and dispenses the mixed liquid into aquaria holding the aquatic life form that is to be exposed. The test solution (toxicant) can be wastewater, or it can be a prepared solution of organic compounds, pesticides, metal solutions or other single or combined elements or compounds. The dilution water can be collected from any freshwater supply or from brackish or marine sources. The dilutor system may utilize any number of freshwater or marine fish and invertebrate species as the test organisms.

Flexibility to meet your BIOASSAY testing needs. The most important feature of the ENVIRO-TOX Flow-Thru Bioassay Dilutor System is the total flexibility. A solenoid-activated dilutor provides for consistently reproducible mixing of the test solution. The cycling sequence can be initiated by the high / low water level probes or by a built-in timer. State of the art design and electronic controls allow automatic operation. The ENVIRO-TOX System has the ability to examine the effects of six different toxicant concentrations during one test sequence. Coupled with a control test of 100% dilution water and duplicate testing of each of the mixtures, the ENVIRO-TOX System will provide the necessary precision to calculate results accurately. Easily adjusted fittings provide the operator with the ability to change the ratio of test solution to dilution water prior to each test. The control system is designed for maximum flexibility also; each of the solenoid valves can be turned on or off individually. A side dosing chamber, elapsed time counter, cycle counter and auxiliary power outlet are only some of the features that make the ENVIRO-TOX Flow-Thru Bioassy Dilutor System the most effective available.
